STAY-AT-HOME ORDER

As of March 19, Governor Newsom, the CA State Public Health Officer and Director of the CA Department of Public Health ordered all individuals in the State of California to stay home or at their place of residence, except as needed for the continuity of operation of the federal infrastructure sectors, critical government services, schools, childcare, and construction, including housing construction.

RESOURCES FOR EMPLOYEES

If you lost your job due to the health crisis, cannot work because you have contracted COVID-19, or if you cannot work because you are caring for a sick family member, you may apply for a program that best fits your needs and the Employment Development Department (EDD) will determine your eligibility for benefits.

If you do not have a source of health care coverage or have recently lost your employer-sponsored health care coverage, here are some options you can explore.

Covered California

Due to COVID-19, Covered California has extended their enrollment period through June 30.

Medi-Cal

California has put a 90-day hold on Medi-Cal renewal reviews, ensuring those already enrolled can continue their coverage and freeing up resources to quickly process the expected new enrollments.Visit https://www.dhcs.ca.gov/ or call 1-800-300-1506 for more information.

 

CHILD CARE

Th California Department of Education (CDE) has issued the following guidance for parents whose current childcare facility is closed:
